Understanding performance appraisals

Modified on Mon, 29 Jan 2018 at 10:58 AM

An employee's performance appraisal is organized in three steps:

Step #1: Employee completes self-evaluation

Employees will get an email notification as soon as a new performance appraisal session is created for them. They will be able to complete their self-evaluation by clicking on the link included in the notification or by visiting the To Do page.

Step #2: Manager completes appraisal

As soon as an employee completes a self-evaluation, the corresponding manager will be notified by email. At that point, managers will be able to complete their part of the appraisal by clicking on the link included in the notification or by visiting the To Do page.

Step #3: Manager shares appraisal with employee

Once step 2 is completed, managers (or HR users) can share the appraisal with their employees by clicking on the "Share..." button on top of the appraisal results page.
