Signing a performance appraisal

Here's a quick guide that shows what employees and managers see when they need to sign a review. In the example below, we are requiring signatures from the manager and the employee.


Tasks list


Managers will have the usual task they see when they need to complete an employee's review:



Once they complete the review form they will see a new entry in their list where they can either sign or share the results.



Signing the appraisal


Note that the manager does not need to perform the signature or sharing steps in any particular order. However, it's important that they share the results with the employee to allow them to sign them as well.


Upon pressing the "Sign" button, both managers and employees will be able to see the appraisal report to review it. When ready to sign they can click again on Sign at the top of the page:


They will then get asked to confirm their signature and provide any comments they may want to record at the same time.



Signatures will be visible at the bottom of the appraisal results page. The date and time of signature along with any comments provided will be displayed there:
