Upload documents to a user's profile

Uploading files to an employee's profile is a feature that can be used exclusively by users with the User Management privilege (full Administrators have this privilege by default). You may want to include documents such as training certificates, professional licenses, even reviews from old systems, etc.


To do so, login to Primalogik and go to the Users page. Either create a new user or press Edit on any existing user and find the Employee Documents tab at the bottom of the page. There, you can upload any number of files you'd like. There is a maximum file size limit of 50mb. There is no restriction on the file type.



There are several options as far as accessibility when uploading files. If you do not choose anything, the default setting is to allow only users with the User Management privilege to see the files (this includes full Administrators). Please note that the Management chain means the file will be accessible by not only the employee's direct manager but also their manager's manager and so on, all the way to the top.



Anyone to whom the files are accessible will be able to click on the employee's name on several pages including, but not limited to, Appraisals and 360 Surveys. Select the Documents tab to view the documents.


If you are an employee without any privileges or management status, you can view your own by logging into your portal and clicking on your profile.


Note: each organization is given a total of 50mb of space per user. For example, a company with 50 licenses receives 2.5gb total. Additional storage space is available for a nominal fee by contacting support@primalogik.com.
