Extending the deadline of a 360 survey

Modified on Mon, 18 Jan 2021 at 05:00 PM

Extending the deadline for an ongoing survey is easy. You can do this if one or more participants need time to finish filling or if the deadline has passed and you want to allow someone to modify answers that they already submitted.

Please note that there is only one deadline per survey. It is not possible to extend the deadline for select individuals. The extension will apply to all participants in the survey.

First, go to the 360 Surveys page and find the reviewee whose survey deadline you would like to extend. Press the Edit button:

Next, update the deadline and press Save:

The system will ask you if you want to notify your participants at this stage:

If you press "Yes, send" then your participants will be notified of the new deadline. Please note that if you added additional participants at this stage and press this button, those users will also receive their initial notification with the same action.

Extending deadlines on multiple surveys in batch

You also have the option of extending deadlines on multiple reviewees' surveys by using the Batch Operations feature.

Select the reviewees whose survey deadlines you'd like to extend. Keep in mind that you are not selecting individuals here, you are selecting the survey on that reviewee.

The next screen will ask for the new deadline. If any of your surveys allowed the reviewee to make suggestions for participants, you can also update that deadline at this stage. If none of your surveys called for participant suggestions, you can simply ignore this.

Press the Next button again then press Update to confirm the changes.
