New Cascading Goals feature

We're proud to announce a big evolution in our Goals module. We're introducing Cascading Goals.

With the new cascading features it will possible to align individual goals with team goals and with organizational goals in a way that better reflect the progress of goals for your whole team. When you enable the Cascading Goals feature will allow have the ability to:

• Define Company, Team and Individual goals.
• Define parent-child relationships for your goals to build a hierarchy that represents how goals align.
• See how the progress of child goals impact the progress of goals higher up in the goal hierarchy.

Note that this feature is optional. Cascading goals may not be for everyone, if you prefer to continue using goals in the same way as today, you will not need to change anything. When you're ready to use this new feature you can turn it on for your next goal cycle.

This new feature will be released in two stages:

1. In stage one (September 16th) we'll launch the new feature so you can turn it on for your next review cycle or for testing purposes. You will be able to create goals and link them to their parent-child goals.
2. In a second stage (fall 2023) we'll release a new way of exploring goals that will allow you to see progress and navigate your goal hierarchy in a graphical way.
